Châteauroux-Centre Airport is an industrial airport specialised in:
- Air freight: it plays a complementary role to the Paris city airports, and is equipped for all types of aircraft and for the transport of every type of merchandise
- Training of pilots in real conditions of take-off and landing
- Training of airport fire department services using a simulator (C2FPA)
- Aircraft storage, with 40 hectares (99 acres) of aircraft parking facilities
- Maintenance of Airbus and Boeing aircraft (MRO Part-145 certified)
- Paintwork on new and used aircraft
- Dismantlement and recycling of obsolete aircraft (ISO14001)
